Can Apple Cards be scanned by Cell phones ? ( scammers )

Latlely, the big stores like the Big Blue one that starts with a " W----t & M---er " both seem to

sell out of Apple Cards & basically, are not well supplied like they use to the last several months.

The most recent months, the supply of Apple Cards has been zero to none. But smaller store

the one with the Yellow & Black Sign " D G " has them. But our DG store lately had a problem w/

their machine. One time I had just arrived home & just one hour after getting home & removing the

gray coating to see the code on the card so I could buy things from the Apple Store, I submitted my card

& a message came back to me that there were no funds on Apple Card. I lost $500. After I called Apple,

a rep said that there were 4 transactions taken off the card before I ever got home. I gave the Apple rep my name & info they said it would be 10 business days to restore my card. It's way past that, I've not heard back from the Apple Corppration yet. Can anyone tell me how my card was used before I got home?
